Network Security Advanced Certificate

The Network Security Advanced Certificate is designed for students who have completed an associate degree or higher. The certificate gives students the opportunity to advance their skills and technical knowledge in network security, affording students the advanced skills highly sought by employers. 

GRADUATES MAY PURSUE CAREERS IN:

  • Network Administration
  • Network Security
  • Server Administration
  • Penetration Testing
  • Computer Forensics

Based on a student’s previous course history, some of the required curriculum may have been completed. Students must complete at least 16 additional credits beyond previous earned degree(s) in order to earn an advanced certificate. Course substitutions based on career/educational goals can be made with approval of the Department Chair. Students must not have taken elective class chosen as part of an associate degree.

All students will be subject to a criminal background check. A criminal conviction will not automatically prevent a person from being accepted into the program.
