Central Maine Community College offers high-quality education at one of the lowest tuition rates in New England. Annual tuition for full-time, in-state students is only $2,880. More than  75% of our students receive some form of financial aid; two-thirds of our students receive grants and scholarships that do not require repayment.

Career Preparation

Many of our graduates start their career right away. Those in criminal justice, nursing, precision machining, automotive technology, building construction, and electromechanical often earn starting salaries of $40,000 a year or more. And because of our low cost, you can graduate with little or no debt when you start your new career.


CMCC has seamless transfer options into degree programs at many well-known colleges & universities. Our graduates have easily transferred credits to more than 200 colleges and universities, including Ivy League and other top-tier institutions.
