About the Role: As the Full-Time Store Manager, you’ll take the lead in all aspects of daily operations, from hitting sales goals to maximizing donations and managing a high-performing team. This role offers more than just retail—it’s about community impact, team leadership, and driving the success of a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all store operations within budget, meeting or exceeding production and sales goals
  • Manage and optimize inventory, pricing, merchandising, and customer service
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff (3+ employees), volunteers, and a Volunteer Coordinator
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Ensure efficient and safe handling of donations and merchandise

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. 3–5 years’ experience in retail, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role. Strong math and leadership skills. Ability to lead by example—motivating, coaching, and if needed, disciplining staff. Thrift store experience is a plus! Physical ability to lift/move 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varied environmental conditions. Comfortable using equipment like dollies, carts, and hand trucks (no forklifts).
