Blue Marble is looking for a software sales representative to join our sales support team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be passionate about customer service. The successful candidate will answer customer queries and resolve issues via appropriate channels. The software sales representative will contribute to Blue Marble’s growth by:

processing orders and qualifying leads for the sales team;
promptly responding to customer queries via email or phone;
troubleshooting customer issues before escalating to the technical support team;
liaising with peers or managers to find the best solutions to customers’ issues;
obtaining and sharing customer feedback with managers and other departments so that products and services can be improved;
demonstrating a positive attitude towards challenges, focusing on maintaining solid relationships with customers and resellers; and
offering polite, helpful, and professional customer service at all times.

This exciting position allows the successful candidate to learn the intricacies of the GIS and geodetic software industry and grow with the company.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce; previous experience in sales, marketing, or a customer service role; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; a strong sense of project ownership; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment; and proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with other teams. Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in business, English, or communications (preferred, but different degrees will be considered); working knowledge of commonly used software such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and others; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; aptitude for learning how to use our software products and staying abreast of new features and tools; a positive, can-do attitude and readiness to problem-solve; and a willingness and ability to travel as needed.
