Early Head Start Teacher

Program Overview: Promise Early Education Center is the foremost early learning program in Central Maine that is dedicated to educating the whole child and preparing that child for success in school and opportunity beyond. Our Agency provides a safe, engaging, and empowering place for children to learn and grow; offers a results driven educational curriculum taught be degreed teachers; and supports the engagement of parents and caregivers in their child’s learning through partnership, communication and a commitment to the parent as primary educator.

If you have a desire to have a career working with young children then Promise Early Education Center would like to help you achieve that goal! An Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but you can work as an Early Head Start Teacher if you have you Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)!

Position Summary: Promise’s Teachers are early childhood professionals responsible to create a positive, safe environment and deliver a comprehensive, quality and developmentally appropriate program for children and their families.
