We are seeking an experienced and self-directed Lead CNC Machinist ready to take immediate ownership of setup and programming across our CNC department.

Our Equipment

You will be working with modern, high-performance equipment designed for precision and productivity:

CNC Turning – (3) Miyano BNA-42DHY’s

  • Fanuc Controls.
  • All programming currently is done at the machine, open to adding CAM package for right candidate.

CNC Milling – Hurco VM30i and VM10i

  • Conversational programming, ability to upload G-code.

Experience:

  • CNC Setup: 5 years (Required)
  • CNC lathe: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CNC milling machine: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CNC programming: 5 years (Preferred)
  • CNC Turning: 5 years (Preferred)

Requirements:

- Lead all aspects of CNC setup and programming for turning and milling operations. - Optimize tool paths and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and the highest quality output. - Perform essential maintenance and quality checks to ensure continuous, high-precision production. - Solve problems independently and take initiative on process improvements. - Maintain the utmost care for quality and adhere to stringent inspection standards.

Qualifications:

- Proven, hands-on experience in CNC setup, programming, and operation (G-code proficiency required). - A strong dedication to precision machining and quality control. - The ability to work autonomously and manage your workflow without direct supervision. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. - High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a machine shop.
