Role Overview
We are hiring an AI Researcher to push the boundaries of applied artificial intelligence in real-world production systems.
This is a research-to-production role, where you will design experiments, build and train models, and translate cutting-edge AI research into features used by over 1 million users.
You will work across natural language processing, speech understanding, and real-time AI systems, directly influencing how our AI copilot listens, understands, and responds in live environments.
The ideal candidate is a strong researcher who can move seamlessly between reading papers, running experiments, and shipping production-ready code.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Experience.
3+ years of AI/ML research experience OR equivalent applied research experience.
Experience publishing or contributing to top-tier AI conferences (preferred).
Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, or speech models.
Experience taking research from prototype to production.
Experience with RAG systems or knowledge-grounded AI.
Education:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, NLP, or related field.
Strong publication record is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong Python programming skills.
Deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).
Familiarity with ML tools (W&B, MLflow, experiment tracking).
Understanding of NLP, speech-to-text, and generative AI systems.
Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Docker/Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of large-scale data systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong research mindset (hypothesis-driven thinking).
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and own research problems end-to-end.
Strong collaboration across engineering, product, and research teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with real-time or streaming AI systems.
Background in speech recognition or audio processing.
Experience with agentic AI or multi-step reasoning systems.
Model compression, quantization, or distillation experience.
Open-source AI/ML contributions or publications.
Startup or early-stage experience (Seed–Series A).
