Mechanical Designer I

Dielectric is excited to welcome a Mechanical Designer I to our engineering team! This is an entry-level, on-site position based in Raymond, Maine, right in the heart of the beautiful Lakes Region.

This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their mechanical design career who’s eager to grow, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to real-world products. You’ll support the design and documentation of broadcast antennas and RF components while building hands-on experience in a collaborative engineering environment.

What you’ll do:
• Assist with 3D parametric models, assemblies, and drawings
• Support production drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
• Work with CAD, MRP, and project tracking tools
• Learn and grow under the guidance of senior engineers

What we’re looking for:
• Entry-level mechanical designer with intermediate 3D CAD skills (Solid Edge preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and interest in manufacturing processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well with a team
• Experience or interest in a design engineering environment
