Installing and Configuring Windows Server Course Offered Winter 2017

Corporate and Community Services at Central Maine Community College will offer “Installing and Configuring Windows Server” on Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 31 through March 23, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

This course is designed to prepare students for the Microsoft 70-410 exam, part one of a series of three exams that test the skills and knowledge necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 infrastructure in an existing enterprise environment. Passing this exam validates a candidate’s ability to implement and configure Windows Server 2012 core services, such as Active Directory and networking services. Other technical tasks covered in this course include installing servers, configuring server roles and features, deploying a core network service, configuring Hyper-V, and managing group policies.

The cost for this 49-hour course is $699 and includes hands on instruction, one 70-410 exam voucher (valued at $165) and six-month access to an online practice test.
