Excel Certification Prep Course Offered at Central Maine Community College

The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer an Excel 2013 “Exam Cram” on Mondays and Tuesdays, January 4 through January 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Intended for the middle-level Microsoft Excel 2013 or 2010 user, this is not an entry-level course.  The course will cover basic spreadsheet concepts and more sophisticated functions which enhance spreadsheet utilization, improve functionality, and increase a wide variety of applications for spreadsheet analysis. Other topics covered during the 12 hours of instruction include calculating date with formulas, working with pivot tables/charts, managing multiple worksheets, advanced functions, financial tools, charting financial data, and what-if analyses.

The cost is $119 and includes all course materials and an exam voucher for Microsoft Office Specialist Exam 77-420 (valued at $96). This exam must then be scheduled and attempted at CMCC no later than February 1, 2016.
