CMCC to Host Fall Open House on Saturday, October 16
AUBURN, ME – Central Maine Community College (CMCC) will host its annual Fall Open House for prospective students and their families on Saturday, October 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at its lakeside campus at 1250 Turner Street in Auburn.
The open house will provide an exciting opportunity for students to tour state-of-the-art labs, speak with faculty about specific programs, and hear from current students about their experiences. In addition to having all academic programs, student organizations, and athletics represented, staff members and students will be ready to assist with the admissions and financial aid application processes.
Prospective students who complete an admissions application at the open house will have their application fee waived. Guided tours of the entire campus will be available, but prospective students can also choose to visit the programs and services that they are most interested in. In addition, Culinary Arts students will provide refreshments.
CMCC offers over 40 degrees and certificates that prepare graduates for immediate employment or transfer to a four-year institution. In addition to on-campus housing and a large number of student clubs and activities, the College offers competitive athletic teams: basketball, cross-country, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball for women; basketball, baseball, cross-country, ice hockey, track and field, and soccer for men.
