Central Maine Community College to Host Passport Event
The U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility at Central Maine Community College (CMCC) will host an informal “Passport Fair” on Thursday, August 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The public is invited to come in any time that day to learn more about the services offered. Appointments are not required and multiple agents will be on hand to provide information or process applications. Anyone interested in applying for a passport should bring with them the following items: birth certificate or certificate of citizenship; driver’s license or state identification card; and check or money order for the application fee. Official passport photos can be taken at this facility.
Passport forms, information on how to apply, a fee chart, and more can be found on the U.S. Department of State website for passport and travel information at travel.state.gov.
This event will be held at the passport facility at CMCC, which is located in Room J115 on the ground floor of Jalbert Hall. Light refreshments will be available. There are directional signs on campus and reserved parking spaces will be available near the college store and passport entrance.
