Central Maine Community College Announces New Hires

Central Maine Community College is pleased to announce the addition of three new employees in academic affairs, learning and advising, and athletics.

Tobby Bragdon

Tobby Bragdon has been hired as associate dean of academic affairs. Bragdon comes to CMCC with ten years of higher education experience, most recently as the curriculum designer at Eastern Maine Community College. He holds a bachelor of science in mental health and human services from University of Maine at Augusta and a master of education in student development in higher education from University of Maine. Tobby is a current doctoral candidate in higher education at the University of Maine. His doctoral work focuses on the discourse in articulation agreement policy between community colleges and public four-year institutions that have not yet cultivated a strong transfer-receptive culture.

Maria D’Auria

Maria D’Auria joins CMCC as a learning and advising specialist. D’Auria comes to CMCC from the financial services industry, where she previously served as a marketing and member experience specialist at Sabattus Regional Credit Union. She holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Merrimack College. D’Auria has been a professional tutor for the past four years and has served as TRIO tutor for the past year at CMCC.

Chelsea Watson

Chelsea Watson recently started as the new assistant director of athletics. Watson comes to CMCC with three years of experience in sports and athletic administration, most recently from the Marshwood school district. She holds a bachelor of science in exercise science from Lyndon State College and a master of arts in sport and athletic administration from Gonzaga University.
