About Nursing

The Nursing program prepares students to become registered nurses through rigorous academic coursework, hands-on clinical experiences, and patient-centered healthcare training.

At CMCC, students develop the knowledge, technical skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors needed to care for individuals across the lifespan in a variety of healthcare settings. Coursework combines anatomy and physiology, microbiology, psychology, medication administration, and nursing practice with supervised clinical learning experiences designed to prepare students for the realities of modern healthcare.

The program prepares graduates to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination and begin careers as registered nurses. Graduates may also continue their education through RN-to-BSN and other advanced nursing pathways.
