FAQs

Common Enrollment Questions

Contact Admissions

Is there an application fee?

No. The CMCC online application is free.

What documents do I need to apply?

Most applicants will need to submit an official high school transcript or equivalent. If you have attended other colleges or universities, official transcripts from those institutions are also required. Certain health science programs have additional requirements. Check the individual program page for details.

Documents should come directly from the school or organization to be considered official. Submit to cmccadmissions@mainecc.edu.

How do I apply for financial aid?

Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This form determines your eligibility for federal, state, and some institutional aid. Be sure to list CMCC’s school code 005276 so your information is sent directly to us.

When can I register for classes?

Once admitted, you will receive registration information via email. Complete the New Student Orientation before registering. Contact advising at cmccadvising@mainecc.edu or 207-755-5380 with any scheduling questions.

Do I need immunization records?

Yes. Have your medical provider complete the Immunization Record Form or provide copies of your immunization records. This form is required by Maine State law. You will not be able to register for on-campus classes until it is submitted. Records may be emailed to cmccadmissions@mainecc.edu or faxed to 207-755-5493.

  • Concurrent Enrollment: College-level courses taught at your high school by college-approved instructors, earning both high school and college credit simultaneously.
  • Embark: A statewide MCCS program that provides individual guidance through the college application process for students who may need additional support.
