Engineering/CADD Technician Internship

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a motivated Engineering Technology student to join our company.

Responsibilities

• Creates design models, drawings and maps
• Conduct in-office and field work
• Utilize company drawing development standards and guidelines
• Performs tasks independently while working closely with experienced designers

Essential Functions

• Excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic drafting standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Has a passion for understanding how things work and interact.
• Basic knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)

Experience

• 0-2 years’ experience using design and modeling software
• Experience with Revit
• Experience with AutoCAD software (release 2014 or newer) is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Minor lifting and physical activity as part of occasional field work
• Able to perform field site visits with occasional overnight stays

Education

• Working towards Associates Degree in Engineering Technology
