As an Information Technology Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in real client and production settings, combining office work with on-site field exposure. You’ll develop key troubleshooting and customer service skills while building technical expertise. This program equips rising juniors and seniors with the skills and experience to feel successful in demanding IT environments.

This internship offers rotations across SE’s engineering teams, including security, networking, infrastructure, and end-user support. You’ll benefit from direct mentorship by experienced IT professionals, participate in professional networking events, and experience supporting clients in many different industries. Our approach keeps projects engaging, fast-paced, and aligned with your academic and career ambitions.

Program Logistics:

13-week summer program: Monday, May 18 – Friday, August 14, 2026
Full-time, paid position: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Application deadline: Monday, February 3, 2026

Requirements:

Core Focus Areas: Network and application security. Backup and disaster recovery. Firewall administration and networking. Virtualization and cloud support. Help Desk services.

Qualifications:

Progress toward a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, Windows servers, and cloud platforms (O365, Azure, VMware). Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
