This is a Head Chef role located in Phippsburg, ME at Small Point Club. Competitive salary, room and board for the season which runs from Mid-June to first week in October.
Requirements:Experienced Head Chef - Ability to create menus, order food, manage costs, manage kitchen staff. Work with manager and board on special event planning.
Qualifications:• Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of a variety of cuisines including vegetarian and vegan choices. • Strong leadership and management skills. • Exercises portion control for all items and establishes menu price structure. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. • Establishes and maintains a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for kitchen areas and equipment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. o Serve safe certification is required. • Passionate about food and dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for guests.
