Timber Frame Apprentice

Maine Barn Company is looking to hire additional crew members for our busy timber framing shop in Edgecomb, Maine. Ideal candidates will be familiar with layout and design, have experience cutting complex joinery, and be eager to work as an integral part of our team in the shop.

Duties: Layout, cut, and raise timber frame structures with strong attention to detail.

Requirements of the job: Knowledge of timber frame joinery and timber cutting skills. Ability to interpret shop drawings for construction. Ability to carry out assignments with attention to detail, either alone or in a team.
