Medical Assistant (Dermatology)

Job description:

Established and busy dermatology practice in Waterville is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its clinical team. Join us in making a meaningful impact on patient health and well-being.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a medical setting. Additional job duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:

Understanding of medical terminology and medical office workflow
Room patients, obtain patient history and reason for seeking care
Complete accurate documentation of patient visits
Collect and label specimens
Surgical assistance, suture removals, wound care
Provides patient education on procedures, surgeries, pre and post op care
Maintain clean work area, exam rooms, and maintain supplies
Must have “can do/positive attitude” with willingness to assist in any area necessary and posses good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude, good communication, and ability to work as a team member is essential
