Geiger, a privately owned promotional product distributor, is seeking a Customer Resolution Specialist. The Customer Resolution Specialist will process and resolve claims concerning customer dissatisfaction with products and apply continuous improvement tools and concepts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Receive claims calls from customers.
Establish and maintain claims files.
Investigate claims requests and establish a determination of responsibility for the problem.
Advise appropriate departments, sales partners, etc., of claims, filed and enter and update related data into the computer system.
Undertake further research, prepare written correspondence and follow up with parties involved.
Discuss claims problems with outside suppliers or internal Geiger associates, with sales partners, with customers, and with others involved to determine responsibility and to negotiate to share of charge reduction where appropriate.
Negotiate discounts or reruns with vendors, following through until the rerun ships or the credit is received.
Offer solutions and options to satisfy customers and maintain continuous business relationships.
Request and/or prepare debit and credit memos and revised or supplemental billings resulting from claims processing.
Prepare new orders for replacement goods, including follow-up for shipping info and processing of cost involved. Recalculate sales and commission.
Duties require experience with Windows-based PCs including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
