Machine Order/Operator

Under general supervision of the Workflow Supervisor and applying continuous improvement tools and concepts, setup, operate and maintain heat press transfer machine.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Review customer order specifications, secure materials needed to fulfill the order, and determine machine settings and adjustments based on product specifications.

Receive raw transfers into inventory and cuts to appropriate size.

Ability to distinguish between colors.

Possess basic computer skills to be successful, including email, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn internal software (Glinx, POFU, Priority+)

Contact CSRs and sales reps for questions on ordering transfers, returns, claims, etc.

Create quotes for transfers from a form with art and specifications provided. Be the in-house expert for transfers providing recommendations, pricing, and suggestions to internal customers.

Order transfer, once approved, store, assign logo number & location info, and communicate to requestors to add logo number and location to production order or item setup.

Cross-train in receiving, finishing, and shipping to help cover when heat transfer is light or help for vacation or backlog coverage.


Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for the duration of their scheduled shift, and lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs. Repetitive movement of the body is required regularly. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.


Duties require knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma. Excellent communication and organization skills, high attention to detail, and a very high focus on quality and accuracy are needed.
