Production Technician II – Lab Testing

General laboratory support of the Operations team with a primary focus on testing product along the production process to ensure quality.

Responsibilities Include: 

– Coordinate across departments for the smooth flow of goods both internally and to external customers.
– Support of production processes to include sample preparation, comb assembly, inspection, washing laboratory glassware, testing production material, and analyzing results.
– Hand assembly of strips into multi-test “combs”.
– Inspection of materials in process and the removal of substandard material.
– Meticulous and timely documentation of lot and part numbers, inventory and quality assurance records on SOPs, and/or production Pick Sheets.
– Following established safe work practices and working in a safe manner, following EnviroLogix safety policies and procedures, and reporting any unsafe or hazardous condition to their supervisor or the Environmental, Health, and Safety department for corrective action.


- Self-motivated; must be able to work effectively as a member of a team as well as in an independent role - Excellent attention to detail and be able to set a high standard for quality, including using SOPs, documenting results, and basic math - Should be able to multi-task and work well under pressure - Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Ability to communicate effectively, work smoothly with a team, and cooperate with and support co-workers - Must maintain a clean and organized work area, including replenishing supplies - Must be flexible to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities, including extra shift work and possible weekend hours - Ability to provide training to other technicians on non-technical processes and procedures


- High school diploma or equivalent - Basic working knowledge across multiple processes and procedures within the Operations and Production teams
