Community Concepts Inc. and its subsidiary Community Concepts Finance Corporation are excited to hire Housing and Financial Coach to assist families and individuals in achieving financial stability. This position will support clients to increase their credit scores for eventual homeownership. Meeting with customers and providing tools and education to work toward those financial goals, including homeownership pre- and post-counseling. Travel is required primarily within the service area of Western Maine and occasionally state-wide, with occasional evening and overnight meetings required. This is a year-round, 40-hours-per-week position. The primary work location is South Paris, and a hybrid work-from-home arrangement may be considered.

Requirements:

Pre-employment SBI, DMV, DHHS, sex offender registry, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment. Must have a valid driver’s license; telephone; computer proficiency; excellent written and communication skills; ability to function autonomously.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or G.E.D. required, Associate’s Degree preferred; a minimum of two years experience in coaching/counseling position preferred; must obtain NCHEC Housing Counseling Certification within one year of hire; must become a certified Homeworks Educator within one year of hire; must become a certified HUD Housing Counselor within six months of hire; experience in facilitating groups; experience working with the general public; experience working in a busy office setting.
