Are you looking to join a team atmosphere and support children, families, and staff?

We are hiring a detail-oriented Health Services Assistant for our Children’s Services program. This position is 40 hours, year-round and is offered as a hybrid work schedule (office and home office).
Starting rate: $16.00/hr.

Essential Duties:

Maintaining and updating health records and services on enrolled children
Tracking and updating children’s schedule of EPSDT requirements
Communicate and collaborate with staff to coordinate health services, including planning, scheduling, and implementation of screenings
Support the Health Program Manager with scheduling services for staff, such as CPR/First Aid trainings

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Degree in related health field highly preferred
Experience of at least one year in child or family health is a plus
Excellent computer and database skills and knowledge

Other Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; competency with Microsoft Office; Pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, Maine Sex Offender Registry, DHHS fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
