We are seeking an experienced, energetic Pre-K Lead Teacher at our Guy E Rowe Early Learning Center (Norway) to lead and work as part of a classroom management team planning activities to meet children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development and supporting parents in meeting their children’s and family’s needs. This classroom is a collaboration between Community Concepts and the Guy E. Rowe Elementary School. This position is 40 hours/week, 38-40 weeks/year, starting August 2023.

Requirements:

To Qualify: A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field, a Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum of three years of supervisory experience is preferred; a minimum of five years of experience in early child care and education is preferred. Other Requirements: Must have experience in an early childhood setting; excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; ability to maintain and grow partnerships with district and school staff; prioritize job duties and manage time effectively; considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry and perform other high-energy activities; a valid driver’s license; telephone; computer/word-processing skills, preferably Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Must obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications and Ed Tech I Certification. A pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, DHHS, sex offender registry, DHHS and DOE fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment.
