We seek an experienced, energetic Pre-K Lead Teacher to work as part of a classroom management team planning activities to meet children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development and supporting parents in meeting their children’s and families’ needs. Leadership, experience, and education are essential for the right candidate. This position is 40 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; telephone; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Must obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. A pre-employment physical, Covid vaccination or employer-verified exemption, SBI, DMV, DHHS, Maine Sex Offender Registry, fingerprinting, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire as a condition of employment.
To Qualify: A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field, a Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum of three years of supervisory experience is preferred; a minimum of five years of experience in early child care and education is preferred.
