Advanced MicroSystems is looking for the right individual to join our group of talented professionals as an IT Support Specialist. This position is a crucial part of our organization, serving as the first line of response to provide support for our ever growing client base. As a member or our team you will assist our Senior IT Consultants with hardware/software troubleshooting, configuration, and networking services. No two days will be the same as you identify, research, and resolve technical problems locally and remotely and while responding to telephone calls, email, and requests for technical assistance. Multi-taking is a must as you document, track and monitor various problems to ensure a timely resolution for clients.

Requirements:

- Excellent communication and customer services skills - Ability to analyze situations promptly and to determine the proper course of action, including a strong troubleshooting ability - Self-starter, highly motivated, and have the ability to work well in a team environment - Capacity to learn and retain knowledge relating to the essential responsibilities of the job with minimal training - Propensity to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, occasionally in urgent situations. - 1 to 2 years of computer hardware repair experience as well as Windows-based domain/workgroup networking experience. - An understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Windows Server and MS Exchange Server is preferred. - Other necessary skills include: Office 365 administration, working knowledge of antivirus software, Microsoft Office, backup software, and remote monitoring and management tools. - Working knowledge of network security, protocols, and wireless technologies is also preferred. - Experience documenting technical processes pertaining to delivery of technical hardware and services. - Maintain professional appearance and conduct * This position requires remote administration as well as traveling to various local clients, so a valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
