High Pressure Boiler Operator This course provides the boiler operator with the knowledge and techniques to operate a steam generating plant in a safe and efficient manner. This course offers a practical approach to power plant operation. It is designed to prepare the student for the High Pressure Boiler Operator licensing exam. Mondays, September 15 - December 8 Doug has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. For several years he held various Engineering & Management positions. He retired as Recovery Superintendent from the Rumford Mill in 1998.
