Resident hall students who need healthcare services are required to have health insurance coverage to access the clinic. Resident hall students must stop by the Student Services office in Jalbert Hall to complete a healthcare referral form and have an appointment made with the clinic.

In addition to the various allied health programs hosting health information and wellness clinics, CM partners with Healthy Androscoggin to promote a balanced health perspective.

Central Maine Community College is committed to providing the means to enable equal access to education for students with disabilities. Pursuant to federal law (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act of 2008) individuals with disabilities (those defined as having "a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of such individual, a record of such impairment, or being regarded as having such an impairment") who are otherwise qualified, may be eligible to receive academic support and/or accommodation(s). Eligibility is based on documentation that establishes that the individual has a disability and the current functional impact of the disability as it relates to our school environment.  Reasonable academic accommodations are provided on an individual, case-by-case basis to an admitted or enrolled student. Essential components of any course of study may not be eliminated or circumvented. These accommodations are intended to promote equal access, not special privilege.  It is the student's responsibility to make the Disabilities Coordinator aware of his/her disability and possible need for accommodation. The Disabilities Coordinator may be reached by calling 755-5277, or by appointment. Please refer to Disability Service Procedure & Documentation  for more detailed information, including the grievance procedure that must be used by students for complaints regarding claims of disability and requests for accommodation.

Personal counseling is available to students through an arrangement with Tri-County Mental Health Services.  Personal issues and concerns will be discussed in complete confidentiality.   Please contact  Student Services at 755-5253 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Department heads, faculty, and Student Services personnel offer academic counseling. The Dean of Academic Affairs is also available to assist students with academic issues. The Dean of Students is available to discuss issues with services and with your rights and responsibilities as a student.

College I.D. cards are issued to all students through the Library in Jalbert Hall (755-5265). Students must present their I.D. to utilize the gym or residence hall facilities, and resident students may not eat in the dining hall without a valid Student I.D. The I.D.'s are property of Central Maine Community College and must be surrendered upon request of any staff member.

Central Maine Community College prohibits the possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol on the campus, property owned or controlled by Central Maine Community College, or as part of any activity of Central Maine Community College. Legal possession or consumption of alcohol on campus may be granted by obtaining the prior written approval from the College President.
