Interlibrary Loan
Services
| Interlibrary Loans: |
- When you have identified a book or periodical that is needed for a
project, but is not available in the CMCC Library's online catalog
environments (Minerva and Maine InfoNet), the Library Staff will try to borrow
the materials from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
- The general
timeframe for acquiring material on Interlibrary loan is 2 to 3 weeks. However, the
Library has arrangements with some libraries so that in the case of periodical articles,
requests might be acquired by faxed or electronically.
- The Minerva and Maine InfoNet allow you to request immediately any
books you locate while searching. Your requested materials
will be delivered to the CMCC Library and you will be notified when
your ILL materials arrive.
- To start the Interlibrary Loan process for a journal article or book
not available in Maine, you must
- Fill out an ILL form that you will find at
the Circulation Desk
