Proquest Direct  The Career & Technical Education database here covers such journals as: Builder, Building Design and Construction, House Beautiful, Concrete Contractor, Interior Design, and Architectural Lighting, to name a few. Full text of all the major U.S. newspapers is here too.

There are over 85 journals in the field of architecture, art, and engineering indexed in Academic Search Premier, many of these are full text.
CQ Researcher  reports, in-depth analysis of issues in the news

Managing citations and your research

Tip: create your citations as you collect research material, and save your list in Noodlebib. This will make creating your in-text citations a breeze. Don't make creating your bibliography the last thing you do in the research process, it takes twice as much time.

Your Library Card

Your library card is your CMCC ID.  Student Services will print your CMCC ID.  Bring your ID to the library, where we will activate your card.

Borrowing Material

Your active library card allows you to check out material at CMCC, Auburn Public Library,  Lewiston Public Library and LA College.  Our loan policies are listed on our website: Circulation Services and Procedures Material can also be requested through Minerva or MaineCat, and shipped to CMCC

Interlibrary Loan

Valerie Frechette manages interlibrary loans.  She can order any material for you that can not be requested through online catalogs, or downloaded from a database
