Rod Millet, Head Coach
Coach Millett took
over the coaching reins for the lady softballers in 2005. He is no
stranger to CM as he has assisted the women?s basketball program for
the past four years. Millett, a former star baseball player at
Oxford Hills high school, and former captain of the UMaine, Bangor
baseball team, has been a softball coach for almost thirty years.
Coach Millett played softball competitively for 18
years, before turning into a coach. He led his high school girls?
Oxford league team to a regular season title in 1992 and has coached
multiple senior league teams throughout his softball career. Coach
Millett has used his vast array of baseball experience to help make
the transition into a successful softball coach.
He is a living
legend in the Oxford Hills area having coached several championship
teams, including Oxford Hills? first ever ten-year-old Bambino team
and first ever 11-year-old Bambino team to a state championship. He
also coached his 13-year-old Bambino team to a Babe Ruth
championship. Between 1991 and 1993, Millett led his Little League
team to an astonishing 55-8 overall record. Among the most
impressive achievements of his coaching career, is winning two
Gold Balls. Coach Millett is married to his lovely wife Kathy
and has two children, Jed and Janaya.

Scott Lovejoy, Assistant Coach
A native of
Auburn, Maine, Coach Lovejoy is in his second year as an assistant
coach for the Lady Mustangs softball team. Prior to his arrival at
CM, Lovejoy coached at Poland High School from 2000-2005 as an
assistant coach. In 2006 he took over the helm as head coach, and
led an astonishing Knight team to an undefeated season.
Coach Lovejoy has
had plenty of experience as a softball coach between five seasons
coaching his Poland Recreation Department Little league softball
team from 1996-2000, and leading his Oxford Hills senior league
softball team to a championship in 2004. Lovejoy?s commitment to
coaching is displayed by the numerous amounts of coaching and
pitching clinics that he has attended all across New England, and by
his loyal dedication to the program and its players.

Dunn, Assistant Coach
Coach Dunn is in
his second season as assistant coach for the CM softball team. Dunn
has been mentoring young softballers for over eleven years. Along
with his work with CM, he is currently the assistant softball coach
at Buckfield High School and has been so since 2003. Throughout his
tenure at Buckfield, his team won three Western Maine Championships
and two Maine State Championships.
Coach Dunn also played a
substantial role in the American Fastpitch Association, a national
softball league, where he led his U14 and U18 softball teams to
league titles. Throughout his career, Dunn has worked with an
impressive array of coaches who have helped mold him into the
enthusiastic, dedicated, and player-oriented coach he is today. |
