Philosophy
Central Maine Community College takes pride that our camps involve the whole child. Positive reinforcement and support are at the center of our teaching, self-confidence and a positive attitude are the important traits campers will develop and learn. We strive to meet these goals.

Note to Parents
Children need to see college as part of their future. CMCC believes that one way of getting children to think about a college education early is to get them on a college campus where they can see the facilities and meet people who can talk to them about education. It is also our belief that while our summer camps are fun, they are a great way to get your children thinking about college early in their lives. A college education is your child’s ticket to a good lifestyle and a reasonable income. Without a college education, they are not likely to secure high-paying jobs. Raise the aspirations of your children, and get them on a college campus this summer in a summer camp.
