Coach Bunyea enters his sixth season as a coach for the CM baseball team. With the 2008 season being his third year as head coach, Bunyea was an assistant coach for three seasons prior to taking the helm for the Mustangs.

Even before his stint as coach, Bunyea was no stranger to the program. He graduated from CM in 2004 and was an outstanding player for the baseball team as he received the Jerry Coleman Award in 2004, a prestigious honor for his on-and-off-the-field performance and leadership.

For the past ten years, Bunyea has coached baseball in many different capacities including at the high school, middle school and travel baseball level. In 2004 he was the head coach for the Poland high school freshman baseball team.

This past season, Bunyea led the Mustangs to one of its most successful seasons in school history. Through his work ethic, dedication to recruiting, and coaching style, Bunyea led the team to a 17-8 regular season record and a second-place finish in the Yankee Conference.
