The Central Maine Community College Athletic
Department is pleased to announce it will expand its athletic
offerings this fall with the addition of mens soccer, golf,
womens volleyball and mens volleyball.
The new sports teams will join the very
successful baseball, womens softball, womens
basketball and mens basketball programs at CMCC.
Braden Zamore, new Resident Director at the
college will coach both volleyball teams and the college is
initiating a search for a soccer coach. The golf coach should be
announced in the next few weeks.
This decision was driven by student demand, a
new 153-student residence hall, and climbing admissions numbers.
Funding for the program will be derived from student fees and fund
raising .
Central Maine participates locally in the
Yankee Conference and nationally in the United States Collegiate
Athletic Association.
