Official "Drop" forms may be obtained from the Registrar's Office. Properly completed and dated "Drop" forms must be in the Registrar's Office prior to the end of the "refund period" above for the applicable course(s). The Registrar's Office will notify the Business Office of all approved course withdrawals. Refunds usually require two to four weeks for processing.

Note: Refund levels may vary for special or short-term courses depending upon the circumstances. No refunds are given for terminations resulting from academic, disciplinary or financial dismissal. Students who believe that individual circumstances warrant exceptions from the published policy may appeal to the College President or his/her designee. Central Maine Community College reserves the right to withhold grades, transcripts, certificates, diplomas or degrees from students who have not met all financial obligations to the College.

*Matriculated students who drop from all classes are subject to the Maine Community College System (MCCS) Board of Trustees refund policy for withdrawals (listed above).
