Graduation from an approved high school or passing scores on the General
Educational Development (GED) Examination offered by the Maine Department
of Education or other state department of education is required for
admission to the College.
If you have not yet graduated from high school, you must submit an official high school transcript including freshman, sophomore and junior year grades, and first quarter grades of your senior year. You must meet the prerequisite requirements of the academic program you have selected. Select your major to review admission prerequisites. Language)
All instruction is given in English. If your native language is other
than English, you will have to demonstrate proficiency in the English
language by taking the TOEFL, administered by the Educational Testing
Service. Please have your TOEFL scores forwarded to Central Maine Community
College.

Obtaining an I-20
In order to obtain a student visa, the college will issue an I-20 to
international students who complete a valid Affidavit of Support, Form
I-134, or an approved Certification of Finances Form, verifying that
funds will be available for all educational expenses while studying
in the U.S. Supporting documentation, such as bank statements, is also
required.
