Academic Advising

TRiO staff members are trained academic advisors. You may get assigned a TRiO advisor if you need developmental coursework. Advisors can also help assess your learning style and suggest a good match with specific classes and instructors.

Transfer Advising

Individualized assistance with applying to 4-year schools, fee waivers, and transfer visits are available for TRiO students.

Cultural Enrichment Activities

Our goal is to expose students to people and places they might otherwise not have the option to visit.  Past trips have been to the Museum of Science in Boston, the Art Museum in Portland, a Sea Dogs game, and a Japanese restaurant.

Peer Mentoring

If you are interested in meeting up with a peer who has successfully navigated their educational experience at CMCC, peer mentoring might be for you!  Contact Erica Watson at (207)755-5206 or ewatson@cmcc.edu for more information.
