Financial Aid at Central Maine Community College
Our Office of Financial Aid is committed to helping students and families find the financial means to pay for college. At CMCC, over 80% of our students receive some form of financial assistance, in the form of grants and scholarships, sponsorships, loans, and employment opportunities. We encourage you to review all of the information presented here, and to contact us if you have any questions.
Financial aid is available to eligible CMCC students who apply and qualify, for both full and part-time study. We require one application, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our school code for the FAFSA is 005276. Once you submit your FAFSA please allow a week for us to receive and process your information. You must be admitted to a degree or certificate program at the College before you can be awarded financial aid. All students are encouraged to complete a FAFSA by May 1st of each year in order to be considered for all available types of assistance.
