Disbursement of Financial Aid to Students
Your financial aid (grants, scholarships, and loans) are applied to your semester bill after the add/drop period is over at the beginning of the semester. If your enrollment is less than full time (12 credits), some adjustments to your financial aid may be necessary.
If you have chosen to borrow federal student loans, you will be notified via email of your right to cancel or reduce your loan disbursement.
If your financial aid for the semester exceeds the amount of your semester charges due to the College, you will be issued a refund check from the Business Office approximately five weeks after the start of classes. The refund check is to be used for your other educationally-related expenses, such as room, board and transportation.
