LEARNING AND ADVISING CENTER
The Learning and Advising Center provides students with guidance, information, and support in their academic journey at CMCC. Advisors work as partners with students to help create academic plans to meet academic requirements while meeting the personal needs of students. This close partnership of students and advisor helps create long-term success for the student.
GET TO KNOW YOUR ADVISOR
Each full or part-time student who has been accepted through admissions is assigned an advisor to help them throughout their program of study. Click here to find out who your advisor is, and how advising can help you succeed at CMCC.
At CMCC we offer free tutoring in a variety of subjects, which change each semester to meet the needs of our students. All tutoring takes place in Jalbert 400, with no appointment necessary. The Spring 2017 tutoring schedule will be available after the add/drop period.
GRADING AT CMCC
Letter grades are used to report academic achievement. The letters are translated to grade points for the purpose of calculating semester and cumulative grade point averages.
