Social Security and Retirement Maximization Workshop Offered September 2017

The Center for Workforce and Professional Development at Central Maine Community College (CMCC) will offer a single-evening workshop titled “Social Security & Retirement Maximization” on Thursday, September 14, from 5:45- 7:45 p.m.
This course is designed to help pre-retirees navigate the complicated and multifaceted Social Security payout options to help ensure they get the most from their Social Security benefits. Participants will be provided with an individualized report to help them select the best options in order to maximize their benefits. They will also get help in generating an income report based on an assumed rate of return and your future income needs.
Attendees should bring their most recent Social Security statement and retirement account information. Those who do not have these are still encouraged to attend and will get assistance in accessing this information in a confidential manner.
Registration for this course is open and ongoing but space is limited. The cost for this two-hour session is $20.00.
