Planning for CMCC Annual Dinner
March 13, 2014
Plans are underway for the seventh annual dinner of the Central Maine Community College Education Foundation. This year’s dinner, to be held Wednesday, April 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn/Auburn Riverwatch, will have special significance since the College is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its opening in 1964. In addition to celebrating this important milestone, the Foundation will also honor the accomplishments and contributions of students, faculty, staff, and community supporters.
The annual dinner is a major fundraiser for the Foundation’s scholarship fund. Anyone interested in sponsorship opportunities or more information about this event is asked to call Marc Gosselin at 755-5352 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Information is also available online at www.cmcc.edu.
The mission of the CM Foundation is to provide financial support to the College and its students; to advocate on behalf of the College; to nurture relationships with the community and constituencies. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of prominent business and community leaders. The Foundation Board also serves as the College’s Education Advisory Council, providing an important forum for matters that have a broad impact on the College.
