Plans are underway for the eighth annual dinner of the Central Maine Community College Education Foundation to be held Wednesday, April 15 th at the Hilton Garden Inn/Auburn Riverwatch. In addition to providing an update on college achievements over the past year, the Foundation will also honor the accomplishments and contributions of students, faculty, staff, and community supporters.
The annual dinner is a major fundraiser for the Foundation’s scholarship fund. Anyone interested in sponsorship opportunities or more information about this event is asked to call Heather Seymour at 755-5248 or email@example.com . Information is also available online at www.cmcc.edu .
The mission of the CM Foundation is to provide financial support to the College and its students; to advocate on behalf of the College; and to nurture relationships with the community and constituencies. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of prominent business and community leaders. Over the years the Foundation has raised and contributed almost one million dollars to the College for scholarships, program improvements and capital projects. In addition to the dinner and an annual fund campaign, the Foundation also co-presents the annual Scholarship Scramble with the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.
