Persuasive Business Proposals Workshop Coming at CMCC
Registration Deadline October 9
September 29, 2014
The Corporate and Community Services Division at Central Maine Community College will offer a workshop on “Persuasive Business Proposals” on October 16 and 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
People buy ideas and products from people they trust. Trust requires credibility, rapport, and low risk. Since decisions are made based on emotion and logic, learning how to make persuasive proposals that address both will result in better decision-making and increased success for both the presenter and stakeholders.
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in presenting more convincing and well-justified business proposals. Participants must come prepared with a business proposal (real or imagined) which they will work on during the sessions. The program focuses mainly on the facts, data, and logic elements for making a persuasive business proposal. Minimal time is spent on the elements for effective delivery. Participants will define, clarify, and provide justification for an effective and compelling business proposal. In-class proposals will receive immediate feedback on persuasiveness and delivery.
Registration for this course is open and ongoing but space is limited. The cost is $159.00 and includes all materials.
For more information or to register, please contact Corporate & Community Services at 207-755-5280, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.cmcc.edu/ccs. Deadline for registration is October 9.
