MEMIC Safety Leadership Series Starts October 9th
Registration Deadline October 7th
September 28, 2015
The MEMIC Center for Workplace Safety at Central Maine Community College will host a Safety Leadership Series. This four-part program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays, October 9, October 23, November 6, and November 20.
While workplace safety has progressed over recent decades, there remain many challenges that prevent some employers from reaching a heightened state of safety. This four-part specialty certificate program is designed to teach what the best organizations know, that you must integrate workplace safety with business goals. Moreover, the safety effort must take place at a key level—the front-line supervisor.
This program covers how to integrate safety with business goals and eliminate performance barriers. Participants will develop an action plan and learn to coordinate executive management’s safety goals with front-line supervision.
This series is open to the public. The cost is $99 and includes all materials. MEMIC policy holders are eligible for a discount. Registration is open and ongoing but space is limited. For more information or to register online, please visit www.cmcc.edu/ccs, call 207-755-5280 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration deadline is October 7.
