CMCC Students Assist in Mock Plane Crash
November 8, 2013
Members of the Criminal Justice Club at Central Maine Community College recently assisted the Auburn Police Department and other responders with training in a mock plane crash at the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport. The students volunteered to be “victims” of the accident and were triaged and evaluated by the rescue officials. The students were then loaded into ambulances and transported to Central Maine Medical Center and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center where they received mock evaluations and treatments.
