CMCC Student Wins Maine Bankers Scholarship

Michele McClure of Auburn was honored recently as one of twelve recipients of the 2012 Higher Education Assistance Foundation (HEAF) scholarships. Administered by the Maine Bankers Association, HEAF was established in the 1950's by a group of banks, businesses, community organizations, and individuals. It awards twelve $1,000 scholarships to students selected by their college for superior academic standing in pursuit of a business or finance related course of study.
McClure earned her associate's degree with high honors at CMCC last December in Business and Computer Applications. She is now working on a degree in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Supervision & Management. McClure is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and has earned President's Honors in each of the last four grading periods. She will be transferring next year to the University of Maine at Augusta where she will pursue a baccalaureate degree in Public Administration.
