The Computer Technology program provides individuals with knowledge of computing in PC environments, while developing specific diagnostic, repair, installation, network operation and programming skills. Two degree options are available, the Associate in Science or the Associate in Applied Science. The Associate in Science degree is designed to articulate with the final two years of undergraduate study at institutions offering the baccalaureate degree, while the Associates in Applied Science degree focuses on preparation for entry into the workforce.
The program is designed to develop work skills for the computer technology and related computer fields. Possible jobs include: PC Computer Repair Technicians, PC Software Resource Personnel, Network Administrator, PC Computer Trainers, and PC/Network Sales Personnel.
